BECE Past Questions: Topics That Repeat Every Year

One smart way to prepare for the BECE is to identify topics that appear almost every year. Here is a subject-by-subject breakdown based on analysis of past papers over the last decade. English Language: Comprehension passages on health, environment, or a folk story. Essay questions often ask about a school trip, a friend, or a traditional festival. Grammar sections focus on tenses, reported speech, and active/passive voice.

Mathematics: Fractions, decimals, percentages, simple equations, number bases, plane geometry (angles, triangles, circles), and basic statistics (mean, median, mode). Word problems involving money, age, and distance appear frequently.
